Department of Mathematics, University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore has arranged an International Workshop “Recent Trends in Applied Mathematics” on 05 December 2017 in the Seminar Hall, Chemical Engineering Department, UET Lahore. The Vice-Chancellor University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore Prof. Dr. Fazal Ahmad Khalid (SI) was the Chief Guest. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mushtaq, Chairman Department of Mathematics was the Chair of organizing Committee. Two International Researchers Prof. Dr. Constantin Fetecau and Prof. Dr. Dumitru Vieru and one Pakistani renowned mathematician Prof. Dr. Tasawar Hayat (SI, TI) were the invited speakers. The participants came from different universities and institutes from all over the Pakistan to attend the workshop.
The Vice Chancellor and Dean Faculty of Natural Science, Humanities and Islamic Studies Prof. Dr. Shahid Rafiq have appreciated the Chair to conduct the workshop successfully and motivated to continue such events in future. Towards the end, Worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Fazal Ahmad Khalid Shields and Certificate were distributed among Chief Guest, Faculty members & students.
